Updated on 11 March. In view of the current concerns about the Coronavirus (aka Covid-19) we have indefinitely postponed the planned stargazing event for Saturday 14 March. While the risk may generally be regarded as low, we have taken the view that there is no point taking a risk where it can easily be avoided. Due to the COVID 19 virus pandemic ALL LDAS activities have been suspended until further notice. Clearly, in the current situation it is imperative to protect our health and government advice is to minimise social contact. The club committee will monitor the ongoing situation and once the government advises it is appropriate to return to normality we will recommence our activities and events. LDAS Monthly Meeting – a virtual meeting
Well, we are in week 4 of the Covid-19 shutdown and the LDAS committee decided it was time to try something new. Our physical meetings have been cancelled in the interests of the health of attendees but we have decided that we should try to have a virtual meeting instead.
