LDAS Monthly Meeting – Rosetta and Philae

No, it’s not the title of an opera…………………. This month Dave Eagle will talk to us about the ESA Rosetta/Philae mission to the comet 67P/ Churyumov-Gerasimenko. Who can forget the first images of the comet and its resemblance to a rubber duck, or the excitement of the descent of Philae to the comet’s surface. Dave will tell us about the latest results from the mission and have lots of images to see.
