Members Talk: “Astronomy for (and by) Amateurs” by Tony Dodd

We have our own Tony Dodd who is going to give a talk on a romp through astronomy and how he got on as an amateur.  It looks a really good summary of astronomy laid out in understandable terms, so a good one for those members who don’t yet know or may have forgotten.  He intends to give this to a local woman’s group so would appreciate any feedback you have.

Please note as previously announced we have stopped using disposable mugs to reduce our waste footprint and have started issuing reusable mugs to members, you can of course still bring your own mug if you prefer.  So, please don’t forget your mugs.
