February Monthly Meeting

Current state of Lunar Exploration

Dr Ezzy Pearson

There has been a resurgence in lunar exploration over the last decade. What inspired this sudden interest? Who is trying to get there? And how are things going? We'll answer all these questions, as we take a tour with how the Moon is being explored by both human and robotic visitors, what's happened in the last few years and what's coming up on the horizon.

Dr Ezzy Pearson has been a space journalist for 10 years. She is currently the commissioning editor for BBC Science Focus magazine and author of the book Robots in Space: The secret lives of our planetary explorers
