“Shaping the darkness: how light helped build the Universe” by Dr Judith Croston of the Open University
Light allows us to decipher the mysteries of the night sky, but it also helped to create them. In this talk Judith will show some (beautiful!) examples of how light is a vital actor in the way stars, planetary systems and galaxies work, and the role it plays in the evolution of the Universe.
There will be a break for refreshments and an update on recent astronomy news.
