AGM

Please don’t forget that the AGM is on the Weds 3th Dec and will be via Zoom.  We have a “What to look out for in 2026” talk from Dave Eagles after the AGM (approx. 30-40min). 

If you saw some of Dave’s talks during COVID and the 2023 AGM they were excellent and certainly food for thought.  He covers numerous conjunctions and events that will happen in 2026, month by month, so good for planning next year’s observations.  Please Zoom in (the AGM is free) and find out what your society is doing.

 Biography

Dave Eagle FRAS is a UK-based amateur astronomer, planetarium operator, presenter, tutor, author and photographer who founded the Star-Gazing website and runs public astronomy activities.

He has a BSc (Hons) and a PGCE. Through his work on outreach and professional networks he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society.

Dave also founded a fellow society, the Bedford Astronomical Society in January 1987.

He operates  a full-dome, presenter-led planetarium show and runs adult education classes, astrophotography workshops, writes for magazines and self-publishes astronomy material.
