Tonight we will have three talks by members of the society, each lasting 20-30 minutes. There will be a break with refreshments provided.

Piero Cocevar – “Experiences from and imaging the USA Solar Eclipse”

Norman Gray -“The South African Large Telescope (SALT) at Sutherland in the Karoo Desert. It is the largest telescope in Africa and is composed of primary mirror array 11 metres across”.

Richard Stratford – “Exploring the Milky Way”
