Our regular monthly meetings are held at Plinston Hall, in the centre of Letchworth and are open to everyone.
Plinston Hall is the large building on the left-hand side of the northern end of the Broadway.
Observing sesions are held at the society observatory for members and their guests.
So we know who is going to be present at an observing session, and to confirm that the session is going ahead, always call the Observatory Mobile (07751 315447) before 7pm on the day.

Public star parties are open to everyone.
If you would like to bring a group to a public event, please contact our chairman by writing to chair-at-ldas.org.uk
(Replace "-at-" with "@". This is to help prevent spam.)

2009 is the International Year of Astronomy. Watch for our special programme of activities.
Initial details can be found here.
