Well, the good news is that the forecast is looking quite promising with cloud early in the evening forecast to give way to clear sky mid evening – fingers crossed. So get your jacket/coat on and come along to our autumn Star Party! We will have a number of telescopes available to view some of the fascinating objects in the night sky, and the observatory will also be open. If you haven’t looked through a big telescope before now is your chance. There will be plenty of members on hand to help with any questions you have and help you to use the scopes. There will be refreshments in the ‘learning barn’ so no need to go hungry or thirsty. LDAS hopes to see lots of you on Saturday!
