Black Holes for Beginners by Carolin Crawford

Tonights talk is to be given by our Honorary President, Carolin Crawford.  Carolin is based at the Institute of Astronomy in Cambridge and, as well as her research and teaching activities, does a lot of science communications to the public. She gives public lectures and has been a guest on Radio 4 science programmes many times. Carolin is a highly regarded speaker and you can be sure her talk will be absolutely fascinating.

Additionally, there will be club announcements, the latest astronomy news and a short presentation on what can be seen in the night sky in July, and, of course, refreshments.

Admission free for club members, £3 for non members.
