LDAS Monthly Meeting – Secrets of the Saturn V Moon Rocket

Tonights talk is by Alan Lawrie from Airbus. 2019 is the 50^th anniversary of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin’s Moon landing. The giant rocket that took the astronauts to the Moon was the Saturn V. Alan, an Airbus Propulsion engineer, will, in a highly visual presentation, explain some of the interesting and often little known events that occurred on the road to launching the first men to the Moon.
