GO Stargazing! – LDAS Star Party

FORECAST – BROKEN CLOUD – PROMISING!

Tonight, LDAS will host a Star Party at Standalone Farm, open to all and free of charge. If you haven’t looked through a telescope before come along and see the wonderful things that can be found in the night sky. If the weather permits we will show you some of the following objects: The Orion Nebula, The Seven Sisters (aka the Pleiades), the Beehive Cluster, the Double Cluster in Perseus, and some lovely coloured stars, eg Betelgeuse.

There will be a talk to explain what we will be showing you in the sky at the beginning of the evening.

Refreshments will be available. The event is free of charge but we do welcome donations which go towards the running of the observatory.
