The society holds meetings on the last Wednesday of each month (except December) at which we have speakers who cover a wide range of topics relating to astronomy. Four times a year we have additional meetings featuring presentations given by members of the society.
The meetings are open to the public as well as our members. We make a small charge to cover the hire of the hall and speaker costs as shown below.
In mid-December we hold our AGM, which is followed by seasonal refreshments and our annual Quiz.
These meeting take place at 7:30 pm at the Elizabeth Howard Memorial Hall, in the centre of Letchworth. Officially the hall is in Norton Way South, but the entrance to the car park is round the corner in Hillshott. The car park is free after 6:00 pm. The link will show you the location in Google Maps. The postcode is SG6 1NX. The location is shown in the pictures at the foot of the page.
The meeting room is on the first floor in the north wing of the building.

The meetings for August 15 and Nvember 28 are charged as members' events, as the speakers are members of the society.
