SPECIAL EVENT Saturday 28 May	PUBLIC STAR PARTY 7:30 unil late

We held a Public Star Party on Saturday 28 May,

This was an opportunity for members of the society and the public to see some of the wonders of the sky, and it also attracted some new members.

Amazingly, the weather was superb, and amongst the items that visible were:

• The Sun - flares and sunspots
• Venus
• Jupiter and its moons
• Saturn and its rings
• Some orbiting earth satellites

There were also displays and talks to make for an interesting evening.
